Exec: Gazprom keeps ‘19 export forecast after Jan–Mar fall
MOSCOW, Jun 18 (PRIME) -- Russian gas giant Gazprom has not reduced its 2019 export forecast of 194–204 billion cubic meters (bcm) despite a decrease in January–March, Deputy CEO Yelena Burmistrova said at a press conference on Tuesday.
“Indeed, we saw a certain decrease in the first quarter. We think it was mainly caused by the weather. Supplies to Turkey fell due to the economic situation which we can see on the Turkish market in general. But we have a confidently optimistic outlook for the future. No, we have no plans to reduce our forecasts,” Burmistrova said.
In January–March, Gazprom’s non-CIS exports fell 10.2% on the year to 48.8 bcm.
